クライネシャイデックの標高は2061m、アイガー北壁へのベースキャンプとして知られています。グリンデルワルト、グルンドからユングフラウバーンに乗り左手に立ちはだかるアイガー北壁を過ぎると広々とした緑のアルプ、クライネシャイデックに到着です。ここからのベルナーオーバーラント三山、アイガー、メンヒ、ユングフラウの眺めはその荘厳さと清清しさに圧倒されてしまいます。

大自然のまっただ中、駅舎を兼ねたロッジ/レストラン、テラス、ロスティツェリアでは新鮮な空気と一緒に本格的なスイス・ホームメイドのお料理の数々がご堪能いただける他、快適なご宿泊施設もご提供しています。

冬期はスキーヤーで賑わい、又、毎年夏の終わりに行われるユングフラウ・マラソンのゴール地点にもなっています。
